A 1940s or earlier thick heavy amber glass French beer bottle with ceramic stopper, marked Brasserie Mapataud Limoges. The glass is also embossed with the same name. WW2 Japanese Rifle Flag & Bring Back Souvenirs
These came in a box that also contained items belonging to an 'unknown vet' (to be listed later). I am presuming these were personal bring back souvenirs. The small cotton flag measures 13" x 11" and is typical of the type attached to an Arisaka rifle (yosegaki hinomaru).
