RAF 1943 pattern boot escape knife. Brass sheath measures 8 x 1.5 cm stamped with the AM logo both sides. I am unable to make out the makers stamp located on ricasso of the larger blade. WW2 German SS Runes - Diamond Arm Patch
An SS or Schutzstaffel diamond patch. The badge is in great condition with silver wire runes on black wool edged with black/silver braided border. The buckram backing remains fairly stiff and there are no signs of any moth damage. This would have been worn on the right sleeve of the ordinary ranks and N.C.O.s alike. read more
