WW2 British Mk.II Helmet - Royal Army Service Corp
A British Mk.II helmet associated with the RASC. The inside of the helmet retains most of its factory paint. The date and maker stamps are hard to make out as covered by paint and the chinstrap lug. The Mk.I liner is stamped J.C.S & W Ltd 6 1/4 - 1939 or 1938. The outside has the painted of the Royal Army Service Corps. The helmet came with the netting as seen but I believe is post war. read more

Behind Enemy Lines - 1990-91 Gulf War Gold Sovereign
During WW2 gold sovereigns were included in the survival kit of SOE agents. This concept was reintroduced for the first Gulf war. Sovereigns were issued to British personnel deemed as at risk of being stranded 'behind enemy lines' i.e. SAS or RAF pilots, the coins could be used as bargaining power. WW2 Fountain Pen with Concealed Spike
This is an ordinary fountain pen (Mentor) that has a spike concealed within. The spike is three sided, measures approx 6 cm in length and the word England can be clearly bee seen stamped on one side of the blued blade. This would probably have been used by members of the SOE.
